[Atlanta, GA.] The Denied Mother will make its Atlanta debut on Mother’s Day weekend, May 9-11 at the Alliance Theatre.
Written, directed and produced by Barry Hand, of Kingdom Works Production, the play is a satirical look at what transpires when an aging woman from the ruins of New Orleans, Mrs. Plasy McGhee (played by Alisa Hand) is forced to stay with her wealthy son, Dr. Solomon McGhee (Darrell Kelly) and his ill-tempered wife, Iris McGhee (Antonette Reeves).
